New Design T-Shirts

I've contacted the people who produced the original Team Ferguson t0shirts for us and have asked them to work on a new design.

Basically, I'd like to produce some t-shirts that incorporate the phrase 'rebeccaslilangels' that Rebecca has stated she would like her fanbase to be known by.

What do you guys think?

Anybody know the best way of finding out if there is copyright on photos? I know some (such as Getty Images) are protected...but what about others that do not display a copyright logo? For example, if we wanted to use an image of Rebecca on a t-shirt, how could we find out who to contact for permission?

I have no idea how you go about checking that.

The t-shirt is a good design though, would the back be plain?

The back can be printed or plain...anything we like. If you've got any ideas for fronts or backs, post them and here and we'll get them designed

If we used the first one we wouldn't need any permissions as it is all ours. The second one would need permissions, as would the final one below.......

The guys that printed the original t-shirts we made are working on a few more ideas for me as well.

I'd like us to produce a t-shirt that would appeal to the teenage taste as well as us oldies

I guess there's nothing stopping us having a range (or at least 2) different t-shirt styles?

What do you think about 'rebeccaslilangels' wristbands? Could have them made up in no time!

Do you not think the first design looks a bit Hells Angels-ish? I'd be interested to see what Hannah, Tolga and Gary think as younger people.

Regarding wristbands, what colour should they be? Just one single colour with debossed wording would be the cheapest option.

Hi guys, I can't get to grips with the new forum haha Ill get used to it :-) I like the 1st design loads but maybe with wirriting at at bottom or top not going across ?? For designs on the back i think you could have people have the choice and if they are willing to pay extra their names on the back, from the t- shirt shop I go it would be an extra £3 I think it would be the same at yours I'm not sure but me myself would be willing to pay that dont know about any others but I think that's a good idea but it's an option :-)

Wow! I really like the designs Matt. In particular, my favourite three are; the first one, and the last two! I really do think the colour White suits the design as it seems so angellic :-) Im looking forward to seeing the t-shirts in person :-)

Out of interest, what do people think of the caricature image? Just that I've had a correspondence from the person who drew it, and he is happy to strike a deal with me regarding the image giving us rights to use it.

Personally I think it's quite nice Matt. It actually does look like a cartoonized Rebecca! Maybe we could see what Rebecca herself thinks of it? :-)

Okay guys, regarding the t-shirts.

The easiest design to reproduce will be the one with the two little angels and the text across the middle. Basically, all the other ideas have copyright on all or part of the image. We would therefore have to purchase permission from the copyright holder before recreating the image on the t-shirts.

The only image we own outright is the silhouette of Rebecca with the solid black angel wings. As we own this, we can do what we like with it.

So, a couple of questions. If we made the t-shirts up, would it be something you would wear? Secondly, what do you think would be best...black angels with gold text, or gold angels with black text? Once we get a bit of feedback, we'll have a few made up as a trial

My designer friend has come up with a really excellent t-shirt design. Very simple yet very striking. It's hand drawn on paper, so I don't have an image to post just yet. I'll photograph it tomorrow and post it here to get your opinions

The struggle is to find a design that works. Also, we need to find something that potentially would sell if we took them to production...because our original Team Ferguson t-shirts bombed!

Yeah i like the idea of the logo on the sleeve. Think the logo needs to be somewhere on the t-shirt.

Okay guys, they are making me up one trial t-shirt. Rebecca's face image will be in black, the words 'Rebecca's lil' will be black, and the word 'angels' in gold.

Our Team Ferguson logo will be on either the right or left sleeve in the traditional gold and black.

Here's the downside. It will cost £15 per t-shirt to produce. I will need to submit a minimum order for 5 garments. So, at this stage, does anybody think they will be able to purchase one?

oooh that seems rather expensive, ill have to say no this time - proper struggling with money atm

I know, it's because they are making them from vinyl rather than print. Using vinyl they can produce shorter runs...even one-offs. To set up a print run would cost £30 even before a t-shirt was printed

Even then, the t-shirts would still come in at £13 each.

What do people think, is it even worth proceeding with at that price?
